Patchwork quilts aren't for everyone I'm sure. They may not suit contemporary, minimilist bedrooms but they are undeniably perfect for interiors that have a country, farmhouse, vintage or shabby-chic style. They will look good all year round, but it is winter when they will really come into their own, a time when they will be used, snuggled underneath all cosy and warm.
We recently took delivery of the beautiful Mia quilt for girls, from Sashi (SR Linen), who specialise in quality patchwork quilts both for parents and children. With a pretty mix of florals and polka dots on pale pink, it's girly and gorgeous!
Similarly soft and pretty is the Sweetheart quilt with its intricate embroidery and appliqued lovehearts. I always think the images don't quite do this quilt justice for some reason but, even so, it's not hard to see why this became one of our bestselling items as soon as it arrived, and has stayed that way since.
The Rainbow quilt was introduced by Sashi last year and is fresh, bright and cheerful; it's a lovely option for younger girls in particular.
And let's not leave the boys out - Sashi's seaside-themed Boats & Kites quilt continues to be our bestselling boys' quilt, in fact one of the bestselling products from across our entire range of children's bedding! Perfect for a coastal bedroom or holiday cottage of course.
