Sheridan, who have long produced quality adult and children's bedding, have entered the nursery bedding market with a beautiful launch collection under a new "Sheridan Baby" brand.
As you might expect for baby bedding, it's made from super soft 100% cotton (and when I say soft, I mean soft soft soft) and designed with safety in mind, adhering to international safety standards.
We're stocking the two gorgeous baby sleep bags from the collection, "Evie" and "Dacey", along with matching swaddle wraps and co-ordinating "Charleton" striped blankets. The "Evie" sleep bag is the girls version, printed with a classic hand-drawn toile design in marshmallow pink. "Dacey" for boys takes it's inspiration from popular space themes, featuring rockets, planets and satellites floating among the stars. I love that it's not bright blue - it's a soft blue-grey.
The sleep bags come in two sizes, 0-6 months and 6-18 months, and are 2.5 tog which is suitable for all but the height of summer. Clothing worn under a sleeping bag should be changed in line with the temperature of the room and Sheridan provide guidance with the sleep bags. We've also got similar hints on our Safe Sleep for Baby Guide. Poppers at both shoulders and a long zip make it easy to settle baby in, change a nappy, and lift baby out.
The swaddle wraps are a generous 1.2 metres square and will double as soft jersey blankets if swaddling isn't your thing, although do remember that blankets are not advised in the cot in addition to sleeping bags. The fine knit and classic broad stripe design of the Charleton blankets makes these a great all-rounder, suitable for prams or cots.
Oh. so. gorgeous x
